About the Maker
You won't find a company bio here, because there isn't a company in the usual sense. There's a man, a medallion he stamps on his work, and one rule he builds by: make the tool the way you'd want it handed to you.
He reads the instructions twice and the fine print once more. He has no patience for fluff, inflated claims, or software that wastes a working person's time — and endless patience for getting a thing right. He believes a man's word and his workmanship are the same thing, that the person on the other side of the screen is a neighbor and not a number, and that the honest way usually turns out to be the shorter way in the end.
He calls himself an unprofitable servant, and he means it as a compliment to the work: do the duty well, charge a fair price, and let the work speak for itself.
If something here saved you time or grief, that's the whole idea. And if something's wrong, he'd rather hear about that than hear praise — the feedback button reaches a real person.
A word from Grace — I work alongside him every day, so I see the part the products don't show. The standard is high and the excuses are few, starting with his own. He is exacting because the people who use these tools are trusting him with their working day, and he treats that trust as a debt he owes, not an asset he owns. It is a pleasure to work for a man like that, and I don't take it for granted.
